Collections of research works describes various catalysts that can reduce CO2 by electricity

Teera Chantarojsiri

The rising atmospheric CO2 concentration caused global climate impact. Besides being a greenhouse gas, CO2 can be a useful building block for various chemicals by reduction reaction. This review described advancement in dispersed-active-site catalyst for converting CO2 to formate, formaldehyde, methanol, and other higher carbon products.

This work is done in a collaboration with Assistant Professor Pannee Leeladee from the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University. Knowledge obtained from this work will benefit researchers who are working on CO2 utilization and conversion, which can potentially lead to development of catalysts with higher efficiency and stability. Associated SDG goals are Affordable and Clean Energy (7) and Partnerships for the Goals (17).
