Research Interest

• Organic-inorganic hybrid cage-like structures or polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes are of particular interest in a wide range of applications, especially in materials science and engineering. These hybrid molecules generally consist of an inorganic core of Si-O framework in which the organic groups covalently surround as dendritic pattern of their core structure. In our laboratory, we focus on the synthesis and functionalization of this type of material that could serve as an excellent nano-building block with fine-tunable properties including catalytic functions.
